Hello Families, Players, and Coaches,
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the California State Governor has issued an executive order on 3/4/2020 without a current end date requiring all individuals to stay home thus in effect the California Department of Education has cancelled public school for the remainder of the year. To comply with the school closure, as we use a school facility, Westport Youth Baseball Softball Association (WSYB) will unfortunately have to cancel the current season. Another unfortunate event is that in order for us to compensate for this season WSYB will be increasing the 2021 season registration fees to recover any costs associated with the 2020 season cancellation. We want to give all parents the opportunity to roll over their fees from this season to cover next season. This will guarantee your placement and no fee increases for next season. We are deeply sorry that your children will be missing out on this baseball/softball season.
WSYB will be providing the following options to parents:
Option 1 - Apply your already paid 2020 fees to next season's (2021) fees. This guarantee's your placement for next year's season as well as no fee increase for the 2021 season.
Option 2 - Receive a refund of your registration fees, fundraiser buyout fees paid during the 2020 season.
Please select an option at the link to the right: Return Form
If you collected cookie dough fund raising money please refund it back to your customer.
Again on behalf of the Westport Youth Baseball/Softball organization we wish your family health and staying safe. We will greatly miss you and your family this season. Please reach out to Krystle Steeley our over all commissioner at 209-765-7186 with any questions or concerns that you may have.
